Some people just don't get it.
There is no magic pill that will get you the fitness results you want. Results come from the exercise of consistent effort towards a clearly stated goal.
Once you have a goal, you map out your plan. That plan may be to follow a DVD program like those I recommend or it may be a carefully considered walking, running, weightlifting, swimming, or other scheduled plan that will get you to your goal. It should also include a written nutrition plan.
Once these are in hand, you will need to amplify the emotion behind them. You goal should be Big, Hairy, and Audacious. It should keep you up at night. The thought of failing this goal should make you cry.
Revise your plan if you need to at this point so that you will be better able to reach your Big Hairy Audacious Goal. Get a coach on the phone if you need help putting a realistic success plan together.
Now live your life on purpose. Everything should be done for the purpose of reaching your goal. Eat on purpose. Exercise on purpose. Read on purpose. Feed your brain with the things that will make your goal a successful accomplishment. Avoid negativity, associate with people that will encourage you and keep you accountable to your goals.
This is how you will succeed. This is how you will win.
