This was just what it promised: Recovery. I did get a little burn in my quads about the 17 minutes remaining mark. There were some great stretches that allowed me to focus on expanding the lungs and flushing out the muscle soreness from the last few days.
Now for the confession-- Day 4 was December 23rd. I didn't do an Insanity workout again until the 27th! I could say the 26th as that was an off day... but that wouldn't be completely honest anyway. I plan on making up day 5 and 6 on day 9 and 10 respectively. This will mean doubles of Pure Cardio and Plyometric Cardio Circuit. One of the things I like about this workout is that I feel great doing it twice a day.
Also, I don't want you to think I am going to blog this program everyday. My plan is to journal the first of each workout, then let you know when something noteworthy happens. Noteworthy events may include making it through a workout without a break, results of Fit Tests, etc.
Between those times, I will answer questions of friends trying to accomplish some fitness goal.
What's your goal?
