I just got a teaser of Men's Health Magazine in the mail. I was a subscriber for years and years. Man do I love this magazine. Men's Health is loaded with useful tips, tricks, new fitness moves and recipes, helpful advice from a girl next door and a wise old bartender, even advice on getting the girl!
After several years of subscribing it dawned on me, "Nothing in me is changing." I love-love-love this magazine and several others from Rodale Publishing. But they couldn't give me the results I was after. I don't blame them, there are reasons for it.
Namely, they can't put me on and keep me committed to a dedicated workout program complete with muscle confusion and the combination of strength, flexibility, and cardio I have come to love. Even the Abs Diet that they are so fond of, and I was too, I never could get what I wanted!
But somehow, I still thought I was in "INCREDIBLE SHAPE!" No kiddin'. I actually called myself that to my mountain biking buddies once. Such a goober.
Dumb it down a little for me and even a knot head like me can get results! If you have read anything by me lately, you know where I am going next...
Stop wasting money on ENTERTAINMENT like this and put your money into something real, something that works, something that gets results.
Each Beachbody fitness program comes complete with a diet plan (usually easy to follow), specifically designed workouts that are fun to help you stick with it, and an online support community unlike anything I have seen.
I love Men's Health for what it is, an informative Men's Magazine. But if you want results, you are going to have to do something a bit more structured... I think that all the tools are in Men's Health Magazine, but how easy do you thing it will be to put it all together on your own? How long do you thing it will take?
Stop drudging through the desert of things that don't work. I have seen what does.
